Quanta Computer Inc., one of the world's leading names in the field of computer component manufacturing from (Taiwan - China), has chosen Nam Dinh as a strategic investment location in Vietnam since 2023. Breakthrough in investment attraction
In 2024, with the presence of Quanta Computer Inc., Nam Dinh was put on the map of Vietnam's high-tech industrial centers from a key province in agriculture and light industry. Only 16 months after receiving the Investment Registration Certificate, Quanta's first factory officially shipped a batch of laptop models. Previously, in 2023, Nam Dinh set a "record" for the speed of granting the Investment Registration Certificate for the project to manufacture computers and computer peripherals to Quanta Computer Inc., only 1.5 days after the investor submitted a written request; only 6 days later, the Enterprise Registration Certificate was granted and 20 days after the project development agreement was signed. With an initial capacity of 1.3 million products/year, Quanta not only meets international standards but also shows active support from the Nam Dinh provincial government, which is committed to accompanying investors since the project was still on the drawing board.

The professionalism, determination and efficiency of the provincial government have helped us significantly shorten the implementation time and put the project into operation in a sustainable manner.”
Job opportunities for many workers
With Phase 1 completed in 2024, Quanta Computer Inc.'s labor recruitment needs are increasing rapidly. To ensure human resources to meet the expansion of production scale according to the investment license roadmap, Quanta Computer Inc. has proactively applied comprehensive welfare policies, from increasing salaries, ensuring a modern working environment and continuously organizing large recruitment campaigns in 2024. Currently, the factory has created jobs for nearly 2,000 local workers, including operating workers and high-tech personnel, Quanta has reached its initial production scale.
However, with the sharp increase in the number of orders and forecasted growth in investment in the electronics industry in Vietnam, Quanta Computer Inc. aims to expand its workforce to more than 7,000 people by July 2025; of which, it plans to recruit an additional 6,000 unskilled workers and 1,000 technical and management personnel (with college or bachelor's degrees or higher).
