Training for 127 delegates who are prestigious people among ethnic minorities

The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province organized a training conference for prestigious people among ethnic minorities in 2025.

Attending the conference were 127 delegates who are prestigious people among ethnic minorities in the wards: Rach Gia, Vinh Thong and the communes: Binh Giang, Hon Dat, Son Kien, My Thuan, Binh Son, Chau Thanh, Thanh Loc, Binh An.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to and studied three topics: Promoting the role of prestigious people among ethnic minorities; grassroots mediation and conflict resolution skills; propaganda and advocacy skills of prestigious people among ethnic minorities.

In order to foster knowledge and skills for prestigious people among ethnic minorities, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province organized 5 training conferences for prestigious people.

In recent times, with the knowledge and skills they have acquired, prestigious people have flexibly, effectively and promptly applied them to resolve local conflicts, contributing to building great national unity and fostering peaceful village relationships.
