Training and capacity building for candidates participating in the National Finals of the Women's Entrepreneurship Competition

On the afternoon of October 2, 2024, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union organized a training program to improve capacity, presentation skills, and investment calling skills for candidates participating in the National Finals of the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Competition in 2024.

The training program was organized in a combination of direct and online formats with the participation of more than 200 people, including experts/lecturers; candidates, representatives of Startup Projects and officials of the Women's Union at all levels, and coordinating Agencies/Units with Startup Projects participating in the National Competition Finals.

The training program includes the following main contents: Introduction and guidance on some basic principles in preparing content and presentation skills for Startup Projects at the National Competition Finals; Overview of characteristics and criteria for evaluating and selecting Startup Projects at the National Competition Finals. In particular, candidates are trained and guided on knowledge and skills to call for investment capital when participating in activities connecting with investors and sponsors.

Here, lecturers and experts also directly discuss and answer questions related to the contest, helping candidates understand how to prepare content, have the ability and skills to present effectively, ensuring compliance with the prescribed criteria and time.

Ms. Pham Thi Nhung, author of the Project on Applying technological solutions to serve the recovery of agricultural and forestry by-products towards green energy ( Thai Nguyen ToTa Cooperative, Thai Nguyen province) shared: The training program of the Vietnam Women's Union not only helps candidates equip themselves with more knowledge and skills to complete the presentation in the final round of the 2024 Women's Entrepreneurship Competition, but also gives women the opportunity to exchange, learn, and share entrepreneurial experiences.
