Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation emphasized: "The U17 National Championship plays a particularly important role in the Vietnamese youth football training system, being a playground to help players aged 16-17 gain experience.
At the same time, it creates opportunities for clubs and training centers to evaluate the training process, discover and nurture excellent factors for national football. This is also an opportunity to prepare the U17 men's team to participate in the U17 Asian qualifiers in November in Hanoi, and at the same time, it is the basis for the youth tournament system in 2026."
