Military electronic health records are an essential tool to improve health management efficiency, support medical examination and treatment, statistics, big data analysis and build appropriate health policies. Data from health records not only helps assess the overall health status of the entire army but also helps predict health risks, thereby building appropriate health care programs.

This is the 4th training course organized by the General Department of Personnel and Technology for the entire army, in the Southern region. The training course was held for 2 days, with more than 150 participants. The training course provided the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively exploit and use the software, while raising awareness of the role of digital transformation in healthcare in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 3488-NQ/QUTW. The training content includes 4 main topics: Introducing legal documents related to the management, protection, and care of soldiers' health and applying them to military health records; Guiding, exploiting, using, and creating an initial database according to the guidance process of the Military Medical Department; Guiding the integration and connection of medical examination and treatment data to health record software, ensuring consistency and updating according to the principles of modernity, security, and safety; Provide software management instructions, support smooth operation and promptly handle problems during system operation.

At the training class, teachers and officers of the Military Medical Department answered questions and suggestions from students after practicing integrating and connecting medical examination and treatment data to the military health record software.
Speaking at the opening of the training, Major General Do Anh Tuan requested the teachers and reporters to convey the content concisely, easily understood, easy to apply, easy to implement, and clearly, focusing on practical instructions for the subjects so that the trainees can easily apply it in accordance with the characteristics of each unit. Trainees participating in the training must have a firm grasp of the content, apply it flexibly, and in accordance with the reality of each agency and unit, and after the training have the ability to master the exploitation and use of the trained software. After the training, the units will organize re-training for the subjects under their authority to ensure the progress of the synchronous deployment of the Military Health Record throughout the army. The General Staff will preside over and coordinate with the Military Medical Department, Viettel Group and relevant agencies and units to guide and support the agencies and units, promptly grasp the problems and arising issues to advise on solutions according to decentralization. The organizer maintains the time and program as planned, ensuring safety in all aspects, especially information security and data security during the use of the software.

It is expected that on August 15, the General Department of Health and Social Affairs will continue to organize training for units in the Central region. After August 15, 100% of military medical agencies and units will create military health data on the software. Up to now, the agencies and units selected to implement electronic health records before 2025 have basically completed the assigned targets and tasks.
