The Nhu Trac irrigation pumping station system is responsible for serving more than 4,000 hectares of rice in Ly Nhan and Binh Luc districts. To serve the irrigation of rice, the Nhu Trac Canal Management Team (Ha Nam KTCTTL One Member Co., Ltd.) has deployed preparation work, especially specifically grasping the irrigation needs of each locality. Irrigation for rice after sowing is identified as an important task because it cannot be implemented simultaneously due to the sowing of localities with many rice fields. Even in a locality or field, different sowing methods are applied. In some places, transplanted rice fields and direct-sown rice fields are next to each other while not having the same irrigation needs. Another problem is that irrigation water for rice also needs to be regulated reasonably because the rice plants are still short, especially the direct-sown area... This is a necessary source of irrigation for rice areas that need water early and in the source-generating areas. This year's spring rice crop has encountered difficulties in irrigation since the beginning of production. In particular, the water level of the Red River at the time of pumping for irrigation has been lower than the average of many years. At the main irrigation pumping station of Nhu Trac, the pumping time had to be extended during the flood water intake phase due to low water sources from the Red River and long pumping breaks.
