Concentrate resources, material and human resources, deploy 24/7 to prepare for the Exhibition of National Achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day

The Government Office has just issued Notice 424/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh at the fifth meeting of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

According to the Conclusion Notice, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, acknowledged and highly appreciated the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee and the Government Office , the efforts of ministries, branches, central agencies, and localities who have actively and effectively coordinated and focused on implementing tasks and work to prepare for the organization of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the 80th Anniversary of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness.

This is an important event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, so it must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, with a scale, stature and significance worthy of the country's proud 80-year journey, with the appeal and attraction to attract a large number of people and international friends to the Exhibition.

The time from now until the opening day of the Exhibition is very short, while the scale of organization and the amount of work are still very large, requiring very high determination and great efforts from all ministries, agencies, localities, organizations and related units to perform well the assigned tasks. The Government Standing Committee, the Prime Minister , the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Steering Committee are particularly interested and have issued many directive documents, most recently the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 126/CD-TTg dated August 2, 2025, has directed the focus, key points and assigned tasks to ministries, branches, localities and enterprises very clearly and specifically.

The Steering Committee requests ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to seriously, urgently and focus on implementing assigned tasks and work in the spirit of "6 clear: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results", ensuring progress, quality, efficiency and absolute safety.

In particular, ministries, branches, central agencies and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities focus resources, material resources, human resources, and implement 24/7 in the spirit of "working during the day is not enough, working at night", "eating quickly, sleeping urgently", trying and making efforts to complete tasks well, ensuring that work tasks are basically completed by August 15, 2025 according to the direction of the Prime Minister.

Pay special attention to carefully reviewing, assessing and approving exhibition content, ensuring the quality, honesty, meaning and importance of the exhibition; take full responsibility for the content, images, information, documents and artifacts displayed in the exhibition space of the ministry, branch, agency, locality and enterprise.

  Deputy Prime Minister: Focus on human resources, speed up construction of the National Achievements Exhibition booth on the occasion of the 80th National Day

Provinces and centrally-run cities urgently register to participate in all 34 local culinary trains to introduce the culinary quintessence and specialties of 34 provinces and cities across the country.

In addition to the art programs and supporting activities included in the Exhibition's program and plan, agencies, units, localities, and enterprises should research and propose the implementation of promotional programs, conferences, seminars, cooperation agreements, etc. in the exhibition, ensuring quality and progress according to regulations.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism focuses on directing and closely coordinating with Vingroup Corporation and international consultants to carefully review and absorb the opinions of the Government Standing Committee (in the Conclusion Notice No. 418/TB-VPCP dated August 12, 2025), promptly complete the design plan, including the overall identity and detailed design of the exhibition areas; on that basis, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for promptly appraising and approving, ensuring that it meets the requirements and complies with regulations.

Preside over and prepare to organize a press conference on August 22, 2025, introduce publications and propaganda and promotional materials for the event; establish a Press Center, promote propaganda and promotion of the Exhibition on traditional media infrastructure, visual media infrastructure, digital media infrastructure... so that the general public and people know, care about, respond to and visit the Exhibition.

The Hanoi People's Committee directs the Hanoi Police to have a plan to organize traffic routes, traffic diversion, and traffic routing to ensure smooth traffic; at the same time, ensure security and safety for the people and visitors to the Exhibition.

Direct the Electricity and Water Supply units to ensure continuous and adequate supply of electricity and water, without interruption during the construction and organization of the Exhibition.

Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, People's Police Newspaper actively carried out propaganda and promotion work for the exhibition, organized the production of content and images and released them on radio and television channels and in publications, aiming to attract the attention of the general public, widely spreading the exhibition's message domestically and internationally.

The Exhibition of 80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness is an event of special significance, large scale, rich content, a big task, a difficult task, unprecedented, short time, high requirements. Participating in and organizing the Exhibition is an honor, pride and responsibility of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises. Therefore, it is required that all ministries, branches, localities, enterprises and members of the Steering Committee must proactively and actively participate with the highest sense of responsibility, perform well the tasks of organizing the Exhibition, ensuring to meet the requirements assigned by the Party and State, commensurate with the stature and revolutionary cause of 80 years of fighting for national independence, national unification, building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time ensuring inclusiveness, comprehensiveness, overallness, objectivity, thrift, efficiency and absolute safety.
