On the morning of March 26, in Hue City (Thua Thien - Hue Province), Vietnam Railway Corporation and the Provincial People's Committee, Da Nang City People's Committee jointly organized the opening of a specialized train running from Hue to Da Nang and vice versa with the name "Connecting Central Heritage".
The train has 5 air-conditioned soft-seat carriages and 1 community activity carriage. On the train, the railway industry arranges a carriage serving cuisine , mainly specialties of the two localities. In addition, at Da Nang station and Hue station, VIP waiting rooms are also arranged to serve train passengers.

Travel time for each trip is 3 hours, the train passes Hai Van pass, visitors can admire the majestic natural scenery.
The boat departs twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, in each locality, so visitors can catch the sunrise and watch the sunset on Lang Co Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the country.

Many tourists were excited to experience the train on its opening day.
At the two arrival stations, localities arrange bicycles for rent to make it convenient for tourists to visit famous landscapes and attractions.
Thua Thien - Hue province also applies a discount support policy for organizations and individuals when visiting tourist attractions in Hue. In April, the train will be equipped with wifi.
Da Nang City leaders experience the train route on March 26
The operation of this train is one of the efforts to connect the region and promote tourism of the People's Committees of the two cities and is a new product, opening the way for transport business products combined with tourism service exploitation that Vietnam Railways will deploy in the near future.
In Hue, train HD1 departs from Hue station at 7:45 and arrives at Da Nang station at 10:35. Train HD3 departs from Hue station at 14:25 and arrives at Da Nang at 17:40.
In Da Nang, train HD2 departs from Da Nang station at 7:50 am and arrives at Hue station at 11:05 am. Train HD4 departs from Da Nang station at 3:00 pm and arrives at Hue station at 5:45 pm.
The railway industry applies a preferential ticket price of 150,000 VND/ticket; monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/ticket and a discount of 10% - 50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries in March.
