To respond to storm Wipha, Tay Ho ward has simultaneously activated the "4 on-site" and "3 ready" plans, mobilizing the entire political system. Tay Ho ward People's Committee has raised the warning level to the highest level, simultaneously deploying response plans to ensure absolute safety for the people.
Tay Ho Ward is also divided into 3 main routes: An Duong Vuong - Au Co - Nghi Tam; Vo Chi Cong - Lac Long Quan; Hoang Hoa Tham - Thuy Khue to deploy storm prevention and control plans. Each route has a field command team, responsible for operating the on-duty force, handling incidents, and coordinating units to ensure the highest efficiency. The specific assignment list is made public and updated on the Zalo group "Wipha Storm On-duty" to ensure smooth information.
Communication and propaganda work was carried out systematically and promptly, promoting propaganda about developments, impacts and storm prevention measures on digital platforms and loudspeaker systems in the ward. Neighborhood groups also activated Zalo groups to convey information to each household, especially in low-lying areas, temporary houses, and lakeside areas at high risk.
At the same time, logistics and site inspections were carried out synchronously. On the afternoon of July 20 and 21, military forces, police and technical staff went to the site to inspect the drainage system, lighting, trees and key points.
The West Lake Management Board coordinated with the tree maintenance unit to review areas at risk of falling during storms and rains to proactively prune and reinforce. Medical, electricity, and civil defense forces were also mobilized to be on duty at key routes. The ward has prepared essential vehicles and equipment. The ward People's Committee assigned the Military Command and the Economic - Infrastructure and Urban Department of the ward to continue reviewing and proposing to supplement missing equipment, ensuring readiness in all situations.
