Amidst the global economic transformation driven by digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam – which account for over 97% of all businesses – face difficulties in accessing and effectively implementing technological solutions.
The SME DX 10K program is designed as a practical initiative to support 10,000 SMEs in accessing and applying AI technology to their operations, management, and growth. The program is developed by the Innovation Support Center - Department of Innovation, in collaboration with leading digital transformation units and partners.

Within the program's ecosystem, Techvify has emerged as a prime example of a Vietnamese technology-based startup, and has now transformed significantly into a strategic partner in the digital transformation journey of businesses.
Partnering with SMEs based on real-world experience.
Speaking at the event "Digital Technology Breakthroughs for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" on June 21st, Mr. Pham The Dung, Deputy Director of the Innovation Department ( Ministry of Science and Technology ), stated: "In the context of the global economy undergoing profound restructuring under the impact of digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Vietnam has clearly defined its development direction based on science, technology, and innovation. However, most SMEs are still struggling with the question: knowing that innovation is necessary, but where and how to start?"

As a technology partner in implementing the program, Techvify not only provides solutions but also shares the real-world development journey of a tech startup that started from humble beginnings, becoming a friend who understands SMEs at their core.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu - General Director of Techvify shared: “I believe that the most important strategic thinking for SMEs in the era of national growth and the AI wave is daring to be the first - daring to change - and daring to invest.”
AI is no longer the exclusive domain of large corporations. On the contrary, SMEs can fully leverage AI's flexibility, speed of decision-making, and rapid adaptability to apply it to their own operational models.”
Data – the biggest barrier for small businesses when adopting AI.

According to Mr. Le Bui Phuc - Director of Innovation and AI Applications at Techvify, there are three typical challenges that SMEs often face when starting to embrace AI:
Firstly, there is a lack of quality data and sufficiently intelligent data infrastructure. AI can only operate effectively when "fed" with standardized data and a good system. However, many businesses lack a well-structured data system, making it difficult for AI solutions to be effective.
Secondly, there is a shortage of IT personnel with expertise in AI. Without people who understand and have the necessary skills to implement it, businesses will find it difficult to bring AI into practical applications.
Thirdly, there's the issue of investment costs. SMEs are small in scale and have limited budgets, so investing in a professional AI system is not an easy decision.
The solution lies not in technology, but in asking the right questions.

Adding to the professional perspective, Mr. Ho Trong Duc - Director of Technology at Techvify - suggested that SMEs need to start by clearly defining their goals in the digitalization process: do they want to enhance customer experience, or optimize operations?
If the goal is to enhance the customer experience, businesses can deploy AI agents for multi-channel customer service, chatbots, or user behavior analytics systems to personalize products and services.
If the goal is internal automation, businesses can apply AI to activities such as human resource management, document processing, and operational optimization to save costs and improve efficiency.
However, Mr. Duc also emphasized that whatever the goal, the prerequisite remains data: “Data is the lifeblood that needs to flow through the system. Businesses need to standardize data, clean, classify, and label it – this is a mandatory first step before deploying AI.”
Techvify - from solution seeker to business partner
With a team of over 500 technology engineers and experience in deploying solutions for numerous businesses in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and Vietnam, Techvify now not only provides software solutions but is also becoming a strategic partner in digital transformation projects integrating AI, data, and cloud technology.
