Ten Hag was given a score of 3

Manchester Evening News gave Erik ten Hag a score of 3, the lowest in Man Utd's 0-3 loss to Bournemouth in round 16 of the Premier League.

"Continuing to rotate the attack and putting Man Utd at a disadvantage. Anthony Martial should not play for Man Utd anymore. Making a change is too late," this newspaper commented.

In this match, Ten Hag placed Martial at the top of a three-man attack, with support from Alejandro Garnacho and Antony. This plan clearly did not work as Man Utd controlled the ball up to 69% but had fewer shots than their opponents (7 vs 8). They also had fewer shots on target (3 vs 4).

As a result, Man Utd lost to a team in the bottom half of the table by three goals for the first time in history at Old Trafford.

Along with Ten Hag, Martial also received a 3, with the comment: "Owner of one of two harmless shots on target before the break. Martial was a mediocre version of Rasmus Hojlund and was on the pitch for less than an hour"

The rest of the Man Utd players all received 4 or 5 points, with no one getting higher. Those with 4 points were Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Sergio Reguilon, Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat and Bruno Fernandes. Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Antony and Garnacho received 5 points.

Man Utd have lost a total of 18 games in 2023. This is their most defeats in a year since 1989. After the match, Fernandes was tasked with answering the press, and the Man Utd captain also appeared very disappointed.
