Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy, Director of Sustainable Development of TH Group, said that all of TH's production and business activities follow the motto "Cherish Mother Nature" and are environmentally friendly. In particular, in the context of plastic pollution being a global problem, TH is a prominent name, a pioneer with commitments to act together for sustainable development. Over the years, TH's factories have always researched, calculated, and applied technology to implement many solutions to reduce plastic and use recyclable materials.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nang, Director of Nui Tien Factory, said: "In the past, products from the factory had to use plastic shrink wrap to cover the bottle caps because the previous bottle capping technology still had limitations that caused the risk of dust or outside air being able to seep back inside, affecting the quality of the product. But now, the bottle capping technology that TH applies has overcome this disadvantage. We no longer need to use shrink wrap."
TH true MILK, in its continuous efforts to raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development, has actively eliminated the use of disposable plastic products such as plastic bags, plastic spoons and straws. Instead, the Group prioritizes the use of biodegradable, environmentally friendly plastics to minimize negative impacts on nature.
"TH customers are encouraged to use less disposable plastic products - even though they are made from more environmentally friendly plastic," said Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy.
According to Ms. Thuy, TH true MILK’s innovative initiatives not only bring benefits in optimizing production costs but also reflect a strong commitment to protecting the global environment. By taking practical actions, TH true MILK has reduced more than 600 tons of plastic and saved about 16 billion VND per year. This is an impressive figure, proving that joining hands for a green planet is not only a social responsibility but also brings clear economic benefits.
Collect packaging, spread green living
TH true MILK's journey to spread love for the environment does not stop at improving its products. This brand also makes a strong impression with the campaign "Collecting cartons - spreading green living" held annually at the TH true mart system.
Consumers can easily participate in the program by cleaning and folding used milk cartons of all kinds, regardless of brand or manufacturer. The milk cartons are then collected at some TH true mart stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
From discarded packaging, TH true MILK cooperates with recycling units to produce useful and environmentally friendly products such as carton boxes, paper bags, notebooks, hangers, planters, ecological roofing sheets, etc. This action contributes to reducing the amount of daily household waste, encouraging the community to move towards a green, sustainable lifestyle and raising awareness of environmental protection. This is also the way TH Group carries out its extended responsibility as a manufacturer in addition to other long-term activities such as participating in the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam) - striving for a Vietnam free of plastic packaging waste; participating in the Vietnam Business Alliance for the Environment (VB4E), the Alliance of Retailers to Reduce Plastic Waste, etc.
