Thaco adjusts Kia Seltos price

According to an announcement from Thaco , the price increase of up to 10 million VND for the Premium version of Kia Seltos does not come with a specific reason. However, this is not the first time this model has suffered price fluctuations.

This is Thaco's second price adjustment for the Kia brand in just the first 10 days of May. Previously, the company adjusted the prices of a series of cars from the two brands Kia and Mazda. Another brand, Ford, also adjusted the selling price of its cars, specifically increasing the Explorer line by 100 million VND, to 2.099 billion VND.

Previously, in March when it was launched, the selling price of Kia Seltos was announced at 599 million VND for the standard version, 799 million VND for the highest-end GT-Line version. However, with this price increase, Seltos has surpassed the prices of some direct competitors such as Hyundai Creta and Mitsubishi Xforce.

Despite the price increase, Kia Seltos still maintains its position in the market. With more than 1,500 cars sold in just the first 4 months of the year, Seltos still competes strongly with rivals in the same segment such as Mitsubishi Xforce (2,140 cars), Honda HR-V (2,090 cars), Toyota Yaris Cross (2,037 cars).
