Thai Nguyen won the Gold Medal for traditional dragon dance.

On the opening night of the 2025 National Lion Dance Club Championship at the Dak Lak Provincial Sports Gymnasium (August 25), Long Nghia Duong Club, representing Thai Nguyen province, officially entered the traditional dragon dance competition. With great effort and determination, the team won the Gold Medal, an impressive opening for the tournament.

Long Nghia Duong Thai Nguyen Club won the Gold Medal in the traditional dragon dance category.

The 2025 National Lion Dance Club Championship, organized by the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Vietnam Lion Dance Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province.

The tournament brings together 13 clubs with nearly 300 athletes from the provinces: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ngai, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Bac Ninh , Ninh Binh, Lam Dong.

The teams compete in many exciting categories: traditional lion dance, traditional dragon dance, male and female Mai Hoa Thung Lion Dance (lion dance on a high pole), male and female Mai Hoa Thung Lion Dance, speed dragon and speed lion, dragon of choice and glow-in-the-dark lion.

Long Nghia Duong Thai Nguyen Club participates in the National Lion Dance Club Championship 2025.

The tournament is not only an opportunity for athletes to affirm their professional level, but also brings to the audience eye-catching performances, demonstrating bravery, martial spirit, solidarity and aspiration to rise.

The 2025 National Lion Dance Club Championship will take place until August 27.
