Attending the ceremony were Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; along with provincial leaders, departments, representatives of central and local press agencies, journalists and reporters stationed in Thai Nguyen province.
Thai Nguyen is proud to be the cradle of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, the birthplace of the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School (the first place to train journalists of the young Democratic Republic of Vietnam), the place where a number of central press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper were established and first operated... The press has become an important arm on the ideological front, strongly and effectively influencing the revolutionary movement, contributing to orienting ideology, encouraging all classes of people in the cause of national liberation struggle, building and defending the Fatherland.
Through historical periods, Thai Nguyen province currently has three professional press agencies operating in four types including print, radio, television and electronic newspapers, creating a dynamic and modern press ecosystem.
In addition, more than 30 central press agencies have set up representative offices or assigned resident reporters in Thai Nguyen. Many other major press agencies also regularly send reporters to work and closely follow political, economic, cultural and social events in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Hoang Son - Chairman of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province emphasized: " Generations of journalists today continue to promote the tradition of revolutionary journalism, constantly study and follow the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh - the teacher of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism;
Maintain political mettle, professional ethics, enhance social responsibility, civic duty, perform well the task of information and propaganda to serve the revolutionary cause of the Party, the cause of innovation, integration and development of the country and the province;
Closely connected with the grassroots, objectively reflecting reality. Proactively innovating working methods, flexibly adapting to the digital media environment, contributing to building a professional, humane, and modern press.

Also within the framework of the ceremony, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee summarized 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo. This is an important turning point, demonstrating the determination to make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style a habit in the entire political system.
After 10 years of implementation, the whole Thai Nguyen province has built and maintained more than 4,000 good models and effective ways of studying and following Uncle Ho. More than 11,800 outstanding collectives and individuals have been commended and rewarded, demonstrating a wide spread in all aspects of life.
Practical models such as “100 Dong House”, “Love Wardrobe”, “Bright – Green – Clean – Beautiful Roads” and thousands of other concrete actions have demonstrated the effectiveness of studying and following Uncle Ho in practice, from rural to urban areas, from grassroots to provincial level.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed: Thai Nguyen's organization of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day in conjunction with the summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW is a creative and meaningful way. That demonstrates the close connection between journalism and the cause of studying and following the ideology of Ho Chi Minh - who is both a great leader and an exemplary journalist. The Thai Nguyen press team has played a good role in guiding public opinion, inspiring the community, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized that the press is not only a propaganda tool but also a vanguard force in the fight against negativity, protecting what is right and beautiful, reflecting the legitimate aspirations of the people. The press needs to take the lead in spreading the spirit of studying and following Uncle Ho's example.
Thai Nguyen is currently implementing many key tasks such as streamlining the organizational structure, building a two-level local government model, and restructuring specialized associations. At the same time, the province is also preparing for the new term Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
In that context, the press plays a very important role in honestly and objectively reflecting the implementation of major resolutions and policies. The press helps guide public opinion, create consensus and arouse the spirit of patriotic emulation among all classes of people.
Thai Nguyen province has identified three key tasks. One is to continue promoting the glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, closely linked to Ho Chi Minh's ideology. Two is to build a team of professional, courageous, technologically savvy journalists with ethics and a spirit of serving the people. Three is to improve the effectiveness of coordination between press agencies and departments, branches and localities.
Thereby, propaganda work will be closer to reality, helping to spread patriotic emulation movements, accurately and promptly reflecting issues of concern to people, and strengthening social trust.

At the ceremony, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee commended and rewarded typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho and collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda work about Thai Nguyen province.
The advanced examples in implementing Directive 05 are vivid evidence of the spirit of “taking the people as the root” and the ideology of “diligence, thrift, integrity, and uprightness” of President Ho Chi Minh. These good seeds continue to spread in society, arousing human values and civic responsibility.
The 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is also an occasion to affirm the irreplaceable role of the press in the cause of national development. In the digital transformation era, Thai Nguyen press has been transforming strongly, adapting quickly to the modern media environment.
With the spirit of innovation, the team of journalists in the province continues to train, improve their mettle, professional ethics, master technology and constantly innovate. Thereby, they actively contribute to the cause of economic and social development, protect the Party's ideological foundation and maintain political stability.
