140 guests, including members of the Jordanian royal family, world royalty and many heads of state will witness the "elegant religious ceremony" wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and his fiancée Rajwa at Zahran Palace on June 1.
The couple will then travel to Al Husseiniya Palace for a wedding reception with 1,700 guests. The reception will feature a range of celebrity performers, paying tribute to the Crown Prince's military career, the bride's Saudi heritage and traditional Jordanian art. The reception will conclude with the bride and groom cutting the wedding cake.
Jordan declared a national holiday on June 1 with commemorative events held in 12 provinces across the country to allow people to join in the festivities.

The Jordanian Palace said the party took place at the Madareb Bani Hashem Hall of the Hashemite Royal Tower and was attended by more than 4,000 Jordanians.
The event was intended to celebrate Jordan's "diverse social fabric" and demonstrate the royal family's "deep respect for every part of Jordanian society." According to the Daily Mail , guests were served traditional Jordanian festive dishes such as Mansaf - a lamb stew with fermented yogurt and herbs.

Crown Prince Hussein (28 years old) is one of four children of King Abdullah and Queen Rania. He is the heir to the throne of one of the oldest monarchies in the Middle East.
Crown Prince Hussein graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and served in the military after graduating from Sandhurst in 2017.
In 2015, Crown Prince Hussein made history as the youngest person to chair a meeting of the United Nations Security Council. Crown Prince Hussein also made headlines in 2022 when he hosted Britain's Prince William during his visit to the Middle East.

Ms. Rajwa (29 years old) is an architect and the daughter of one of the wealthy and influential families in Saudi Arabia. Rajwa's mother (Mrs. Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmad Al Sudairi) is related to the wife of the late King Abdul-Aziz al-Saud - the founder of the Saudi Arabian state.
Rajwa's father was the founder of El Seif Engineering Contracting, which built Riyadh's iconic Kingdom Tower and other high-rise buildings across the Middle East.

ABC News said Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa are destined to become a power couple in the Middle East, creating a new relationship between Jordan and Saudi Arabia as the country seeks to establish itself as a power broker in the region.
