Appraisal of proposal for approval of investment policy for Social Housing Project in Nha Trang City

On the morning of May 21, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to appraise the proposal to approve the investment policy of the OXH02 Social Housing Project at No. 10 Truong Son Street, Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City. Attending were Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

According to the appraisal report, the project has a total area of over 13,000m², a construction floor area of about 154,600m² with 28 floors (excluding the basement), a scale of 1,540 apartments, including 1,215 social housing units and 325 commercial apartments, providing accommodation for about 4,100 people. Social housing accounts for 80% of the total housing area; commercial apartment land accounts for 20%. The project is located in the 1/2000 scale zoning planning adjustment area in Phuoc Long - Vinh Truong - Vinh Nguyen wards, with a total investment of over 2,200 billion VND, and an operating period of 50 years. The joint venture of Minh Ngoc Urban Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Delta V Construction and Technology Application Joint Stock Company is the proposed investment unit. The project is expected to select an investor in the second quarter of 2025 and start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025, and complete by the end of the second quarter of 2027. The land for the project is currently partly used by May Viet Company Limited and Khatoco One Member Company Limited.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review the legality of the land currently leased by the two enterprises and advise on the recovery plan; assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office to synthesize and include the land in the list of land recovery projects as a basis for the Department of Finance to advise and submit to the Provincial People's Council at the nearest session; at the same time, draft a document for the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the project investment policy.
