Visiting flood-based livelihood models in An Cu commune

On October 1, An Giang University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) coordinated with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to organize a tour of flood-based livelihood models in 2025 in An Cu commune (An Giang province).

Visit livelihood models during flood season.

Livelihood models during the flood season are developing well. Participating farmers said that freshwater fish are growing well, with little loss. The flood-tolerant rice model and lotus shoot cultivation are adapting well, giving good harvests at the end of the flood season.

Based on the evaluation of the model's effectiveness after completion, An Giang University and WWF will replicate it to help An Giang farmers make a living during the flood season in the following years.
