Reviewing draft resolutions in the fields of culture, society and law

On October 21, the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Committee held a meeting to review draft resolutions on the cultural and social fields submitted to the 2nd thematic session of the 10th Provincial People's Council. Attending the meeting were comrade Kim Ruong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, comrade Le Thi Thuy Kieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee examined the draft Resolution regulating specific prices for medical examination and treatment services on the list paid by the health insurance fund, specific prices for medical examination and treatment services not on the list paid by the health insurance fund but not medical examination and treatment services upon request for State medical examination and treatment facilities in Vinh Long province; the draft Resolution names 10 roads and 4 public works in Long Chau, Phuoc Hau and Tan Hanh wards.

The delegates basically agreed with the draft resolutions. At the same time, they suggested that after the Resolution naming 10 roads and 4 public works in Long Chau, Phuoc Hau and Tan Hanh wards takes effect, attention should be paid to proposing the public naming of roads on mass media so that people can know.

Regarding the remaining draft resolution, delegates suggested adjusting the name to be easier to understand and more popular; reviewing the accuracy of the price plan and ensuring that the proposed price for medical examination and treatment services in the province does not exceed the highest price of the corresponding medical examination and treatment services prescribed by the Ministry of Health ; adjusting the layout and appendices accordingly...

Based on the delegates' opinions, the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee requested relevant departments, branches and units to edit and supplement the draft resolutions to be submitted at the upcoming thematic session of the Provincial People's Council.

* On the same day, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the draft Resolutions submitted at the 2nd Special Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council. Attending the meeting were comrade Kim Ruong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Le Thi Thuy Kieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, the Review Board drafted a Resolution deciding on the application of legal documents of the Provincial People's Council after the rearrangement in the field of security and order; drafted a Resolution deciding on the application of legal documents of the Provincial People's Council after the rearrangement in the field of justice; drafted a Resolution stipulating policies and regimes for people working outside the payroll quota at Associations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial or district level before July 1, 2025.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates requested the drafting unit to explain and clarify a number of contents such as: the synchronous legal basis in implementing the regime and policies for the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; requesting the Provincial People's Committee to direct specialized agencies to urgently review effective resolutions, compare regulations of the Central Government to issue new documents for uniform application in the province; estimate resources and conditions to ensure the implementation of documents, specific support levels for beneficiaries, etc.

Based on the opinions discussed by delegates at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee requested relevant departments, branches and units to continue studying, editing and supplementing the draft resolutions that have been agreed upon to be submitted at the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.
