Visit and give gifts to victims of Agent Orange

(CT) - On August 5, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to typical victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and red addresses in the city, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster and Day for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (August 10, 2025).

Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Nga, President of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City, presented a gift to Ms. Trinh Thi Linh Phuong.

The delegation visited the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, including Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Xinh in Ninh Kieu Ward; Mrs. Trinh Thi Linh Phuong in Tan An Ward. Each victim was given 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND. At the places they visited, Mrs. Vo Thi Thanh Nga, President of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Can Tho City, kindly visited, wished them good health and encouraged the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin to uphold their family traditions and continue to strive to improve their lives.

The delegation also went to Binh Thuy ward to attend a meeting, presented gifts to 15 victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and red addresses; and supported 10 million VND in production and business capital for Ms. Tran Ngoc Han in Binh Thuy ward, helping her to do small business and develop her economy.

On the same afternoon, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 7 red addresses, 15 gifts to victims in difficult circumstances and supported production capital for 2 households to develop family economy in Cai Rang ward.
