'Vietnamese Martial Artist' Bui Truong Sinh begins his conquest of the international MMA arena

The name Bui Truong Sinh has been very familiar to the Vietnamese martial arts community since 2017-2018, when Lien Phong Martial Arts School regularly brought him to exchange and competition events in Ho Chi Minh City.

When MMA became an officially recognized sport in Vietnam, the 1996-born boy participated in the biggest tournaments and left a strong impression alongside teammates Tran Quang Loc, Tran Minh Nhut, Nguyen Hoang Thach, Pham Ngoc Canh...

With a fierce fighting style, not afraid of collision no matter who the opponent is, Truong Sinh always becomes a prestigious name in the eyes of the audience every time they wait for an exciting match on the ring.

After many years of waiting, at the event God Of Martial Arts 03 (GMA 03), Bui Truong Sinh brought home the noble title in the Golden Rooster weight class when he defeated his opponent Luu Duc Manh - a student of the legend Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat.

The fiery five-round showdown at The Grand Ho Tram Strip was one of the most exciting spectacles for spectators watching the event.

And to challenge himself, as well as seek the next title in his career, Bui Truong Sinh will be the first champion of Than Vo Vietnam to appear in the GMA 05 event, with an international friendly match.

Truong Sinh’s opponent will be the notorious boxer Athchey Chanreach from Cambodia Top Team – the MMA team considered the strongest in Cambodia. Chanreach is a two-time gold medalist in Kun Bokator, a martial art famous for its skillful combinations of grappling and takedowns along with skillful standing techniques.

The match with Athchey Chanreach will be a valuable “warm-up” for Truong Sinh. Because in 2025, GMA will launch the “Convergence of Gods of War” system with three rounds: the qualifying round for Vietnamese fighters (finding challengers for the 2024 Vietnam God of War), the qualifying round for Regional fighters (finding international fighters who have achieved the title of Regional God of War) and the confrontation between Vietnam God of War and Regional God of War.

Thus, Bui Truong Sinh will have to go through at least three more matches to achieve the ultimate title of “Martial God” of the tournament. With the continuous competition and training period in 2024, the representative from Lien Phong Martial Arts School is completely confident that he can overcome the next challenges, aiming for a new peak in his MMA career.
