Thang Binh trains in the art of singing Bai Choi

During 8 days, 100 students (musicians, members of clubs, groups and vocal teachers of schools) were taught by the Quang Nam Opera and Drama Troupe about the origin of the Central region's Bai Choi; methods of organizing and maintaining the activities of folk Bai Choi clubs and groups; and how to organize a Bai Choi festival in Quang region. Students also practiced singing and performing folk melodies, Ly, Ho, Ve, and calling for Bai Choi singing...

This is one of the activities to preserve and promote the intangible heritage of the art of Bai Choi; at the same time, contributing to the development of Bai Choi clubs and groups to meet the cultural and artistic enjoyment needs of local people.

Previously, Quang Nam province issued a Plan on preserving and promoting the value of intangible heritage of the art of Bai Choi in the province for the period 2019 - 2025. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized many training courses on practicing the art of Bai Choi in localities and Thang Binh has 2 courses.
