Thanh Binh Thinh received the certificate of recognition as a model new rural commune.

Thanh Binh Thinh Commune (Duc Tho District, Ha Tinh ) was certified as a model NTM commune in the outstanding field of rural industries in 2023.

On the afternoon of November 25, Thanh Binh Thinh commune held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a model new rural commune in outstanding rural occupations in 2023.

Thanh Binh Thinh commune has the traditional Thai Yen carpentry village, currently with 56 enterprises, cooperatives and more than 1,037 production households. The total annual revenue of the craft village is estimated at over 900 billion VND, creating jobs for 1,902 workers with an average salary of 7.4 million VND/person/month. Thai Yen carpentry village has 5 OCOP products (1 4-star product and 4 3-star products).

Along with the attention to developing traditional carpentry villages, to successfully build a model new-style rural commune, Thanh Binh Thinh commune has actively mobilized people to donate land, contribute thousands of working days to open rural roads, renovate mixed gardens, build bright - green - beautiful roads...

Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Van Viet - Chief of the Provincial Office for Coordination of New Rural Construction and district leaders awarded a certificate of recognition for the commune meeting the model New Rural Construction standards in 2023 to Thanh Binh Thinh commune.

In the past 3 years (2020 - 2023), Thanh Binh Thinh commune has built 11.5 km of new rural roads and intra-field roads; 8.5 km of drainage ditches; and paved 6 km of asphalt. From 2020 to present, Thanh Binh Thinh has mobilized a total of over 114 billion VND, of which the people contributed 40.3 billion VND, accounting for 35.35%.

Currently, 14/14 villages have achieved model residential areas, of which Binh Dinh village is the pioneer unit achieving the standard of smart new-style rural residential area. The average income per capita in Thanh Binh Thinh currently reaches 58.75 million VND/person/year, the poor household rate has decreased to 2.66%.

Throughout the journey of building a new rural area, the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Binh Thinh have realized the aspiration of comprehensively renewing their homeland, so that people's lives can be truly prosperous and happy.
