Thanh Lam, My Linh, and a host of other Vietnamese stars performed in the New Year's Eve show.

The Tet program, meaning hope for 2024, brings spring gatherings held in all three regions of the country and abroad, along with a series of elaborately staged artistic performances and fresh ideas.

The program spreads a message about the creativity of the Vietnamese people, thereby inspiring hope for breakthroughs for the country in the Year of the Dragon and the years to come.

Broadcasting at the sacred moment of New Year's Eve, connecting the past and the future with faith and hope – the "Tet Means Hope 2024" team chose a creative theme, honoring the creative achievements of individuals and communities.

Journalist Ta Bich Loan shared: “In the most difficult times, we witnessed creativity changing the destiny of the country. Today, with the 4.0 revolution and digital transformation, creativity is even more promoted thanks to the support of technology. We believe that creativity in all fields will bring hope and youthful energy to the country in this new year.”

The highlight of the program is the spring gathering taking place before New Year's Eve. Journalist Ta Bich Loan, editor Tran Long, and editor Thuy Hang will take viewers to the three regions of the country, allowing them to experience the Tet holiday atmosphere and chat with influential individuals in society, sharing their different perspectives on innovation and creativity.

Interspersed between the documentaries and interviews were a series of artistic performances staged in various settings: Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi), Hoi An Ancient Town ( Quang Nam ), on the historic Saigon River, and the S16 studio of Vietnam Television.

Music is also a highly anticipated highlight of Tet, which means hope in 2024. The program selects songs familiar to audiences of many generations, evoking beautiful memories, and is staged in a new spirit and with a fresh look, combining technology and stage effects to bring many exciting experiences to television viewers.

My Linh and Lan Nha will present the opening act for the show.

Notably, My Linh and Lan Nha will present the opening performance with a completely new arrangement of the song " Spring Love Song" - composed by Tran Hoan. For My Linh, this song has been associated with her since childhood, especially during Tet (Lunar New Year), and she grew up with it.

For Lan Nha, this was the first time he performed this song with an arrangement that seemed tailor-made for him, especially singing it with My Linh on New Year's Eve, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, which brought him unforgettable and sacred emotions.

Tet means hoping that 2024 will air on New Year's Eve.
