Establishment of Provincial Market Management Department

On May 27, the Department of Industry and Trade announced the decision to establish the Provincial Market Management Department (MDM) and appoint personnel for the MDM. The Department was established on the basis of receiving the status quo of the Provincial Market Management Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade congratulated the officers of the Provincial Market Management Department on their new assignments.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Quang Hai was appointed to the position of Head of the Provincial Market Management Department, Mr. Vu Dong Hoa to the position of Deputy Head of the Department.

The Market Management Department has 4 teams. Team 1 is assigned to combat smuggling and trade fraud throughout the province. Team 2 is in charge of Vung Tau City and Con Dao District - two areas with important economic characteristics of the province. Team 3 is in charge of Market Management in Ba Ria City and Long Dat District, Team 4 operates in Phu My City and Chau Duc and Xuyen Moc Districts.

The Market Management Department operates under the direct direction of the Department of Industry and Trade; at the same time, it follows professional guidance from the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
