Jackie Chan is not one to give up easily in the face of physical challenges even at the age of 71.
The Karate Kid: Legends actor is known for his action roles in many films. His latest project is no exception. In an interview for the April/May cover of Haute Living magazine, Chan said he has no plans to go against that.

“Of course, I always do my own stunts. That's who I am. That won't change until the day I retire, which I probably won't ever retire!” he said with a laugh.
"When you've been doing it for 64 years straight, there's no physical preparation anymore. It's all in your heart and soul," Chan explains.
Admittedly, action scenes in movies have had a lot of technological help. "Back then, the only option we had was to stand there and jump; that was it. Today, with computers, actors can do anything, but it will always feel unrealistic."
The Rush Hour star calls these advances a "double-edged sword," in that "on the one hand, actors are increasingly able to perform impossible stunts with the help of technology, but on the other hand, the concept of danger or limits becomes blurred and audiences become numb to it."
"But I don't encourage anyone to risk their lives doing stunts like I did; it's really too dangerous," the actor stressed.
Jackie Chan continues to play Mr. Han
In his new project, Jackie Chan reprises his role as Mr. Han from the 2010 film The Karate Kid after 15 years. This time, opposite Ralph Macchio, the actor returns to the series as Daniel LaRusso.
Ben Wang ( Mean Girls ) plays Li Fong, an up-and-coming kung fu prodigy who struggles to fit in after moving from Beijing to New York.

Jackie Chan told Haute Living that Karate Kid: Legends "definitely has some really cool action sequences, but you also see the camaraderie and the dedication. The audience will realize that when people hold hands and work together, magic happens."
When asked what advice he would give his younger self, the Hong Kong native replied: "I would tell myself to study as much as possible and not waste time. I would probably tell my younger self, 'Jackie, you should study English harder, and don't give up on learning the piano' because you can use those skills to make your film better."
Karate Kid: Legends , directed by Jonathan Entwistle, will be released worldwide on May 30. The film stars Jackie Chan and actors Ralph Macchio, Ben Wong, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming Na Wen, etc.
