Ho Dynasty Citadel and Lam Kinh offer free admission during Tet

On February 1, news from the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Conservation Center (Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province) said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the unit decided to exempt entrance fees for domestic and foreign tourists when visiting the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage.

Visitors are free of charge when visiting Ho Dynasty Citadel and Lam Kinh.

Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, said that the free admission period will start from February 4 to February 10 (ie from December 25 to January 1 of the lunar calendar).

In addition, to give people and tourists the opportunity to visit and experience the stone citadel, the center has built and planned to prepare cultural spaces and unique art programs for people to have a joyful and warm spring trip. "When coming to Ho Dynasty Citadel during Tet, visitors will be able to join the "Ancient Capital Spring Flower" festival, participate in the golden bell ringing game and join the Thuong Neu festival, releasing Ong Cong fish in the Royal Palace" - Mr. Anh shared.

According to Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, the center also organizes a space to display artifacts with the theme "Land and People of Tay Do", recreates the space of the old Tet holiday, organizes a program of giving calligraphy in early spring, displays photos with the theme "Heritage Road" and performs cultural and artistic performances of the Tay Do region.

At the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site (Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province), according to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan, Head of the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site Management Board, from February 10 to 13 (ie the first day of Tet to the fourth day of Tet Giap Thin 2024), there will be free admission for people and tourists to visit, offer incense, and go on a Spring tour to Lam Kinh, the temple of Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai (in Kien Tho Commune, Ngoc Lac District).

According to Mr. Toan, to serve the people and tourists, the unit has coordinated with localities to organize many activities at the relic site, such as: Writing parallel sentences, giving calligraphy at the beginning of spring at the temple of King Le Thai To; displaying photo exhibitions; Spring opening festival (the 4th day of Tet); Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai festival with folk games, performances, and palanquin procession festival (January 8).

Not only that, when coming to Lam Kinh, visitors will be arranged an electric car, and there will be a tour guide to introduce the relic.
