TPO - Building houses for disadvantaged families demonstrates the proactive and voluntary role of youth union members, helping households have stable housing, ensuring their lives and enabling them to settle down and make a living.

Last week, hundreds of youth union members in the communes of Ky Son district ( Nghe An province ) simultaneously coordinated with local authorities and functional forces to support the construction of houses for disadvantaged families in the area.

In My Ly commune, more than 30 youth union members collaborated with local organizations to build houses for disadvantaged households. This activity is part of Project 5 and Program 1838, aimed at supporting poor and disadvantaged households in Xang Tren, Xop Tu, and Hoa Ly villages (My Ly commune).

Youth union members and young people, along with functional forces, erected house frames, roofed houses, and transported materials, contributing to speeding up construction progress and helping households have stable housing as soon as possible.

This is not only a practical activity in response to Youth Month, but also demonstrates the pioneering and volunteer spirit of Ky Son's youth in social welfare work; contributing to the implementation of the district's policies to support the poor and those who have rendered meritorious services.

The Keng Du Commune Youth Union (Kỳ Sơn District), in coordination with the Keng Du Border Guard Post Youth Union and the Commune Police Youth Union, provided support in constructing a stone embankment to prevent landslides affecting house foundations in Huồi Phuôn 2 village. The stone embankment helps protect house foundations, reduce the risk of landslides, and ensure stable living conditions for the residents.

In addition to leveling land and building houses, youth union members in Ky Son district also coordinated with functional forces to level and pour concrete for roads, contributing to improving transportation infrastructure and making it easier for people to travel.

From leveling the ground to pouring concrete for the road, everything was done by hand by youth union members, local organizations, and the local government of Huu Lap commune (Ky Son district).

Roads are gradually being built, contributing to the development of new rural areas and providing people with convenient transportation.
