Lao Cai City will organize low-altitude fireworks displays on New Year's Eve at two locations, in Kim Tan ward and Lao Cai ward.
The fireworks display will start at 9:15 p.m. on January 28, 2025 (New Year's Eve). The funding for the event will be mobilized by the City People's Committee from businesses, organizations, and individuals, without using the State budget. Before the fireworks display to welcome the New Year, there will be an art program called "Welcome the New Year 2025" with many attractive contents.
On the occasion of the Spring Festival of At Ty 2025 and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee (March 5, 1947 - March 5, 2025), the province has also developed a plan to organize a series of cultural and artistic activities, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among cadres, soldiers, people of all ethnic groups in the province and tourists at the beginning of the new year.
