Inspecting state management work with national sports federations and associations

Accordingly, implementing Decision No. 15/QD-TTr dated January 17, 2024 of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the implementation of legal regulations in the state management of physical training and sports for national sports federations and associations, the Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has established an Inspection Team on the above contents. Participants in the announcement of the Inspection Decision include Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thanh Liem, the Inspection Team, leaders of the Department of Physical Training and Sports, Heads of departments related to state management of national sports federations and associations, representatives of 30 national sports federations and associations. The inspection team consists of 7 members led by Mr. Le Ngoc Trung - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Speaking at the announcement of the Inspection Decision, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thanh Liem emphasized that, implementing Decision No. 3752 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the inspection plan for 2024, including the inspection of State management, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision on the establishment of an Inspection Team to inspect the implementation of legal regulations in State management of physical training and sports for national sports federations and associations.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung also directed that the inspection work must have a focus and key points, so the Ministry Inspectorate has established an inspection team in this field based on the legal basis of the Law on Physical Training and Sports and regulations in issued circulars and decrees. Emphasizing that inspection work is a regular task, aiming to promptly detect difficulties, obstacles, and legal shortcomings to promptly submit to competent authorities for amendment and removal, Mr. Le Thanh Liem said that for the Department of Physical Training and Sports, the inspection will focus on how the Department has implemented the State management role for Federations and Associations.

From there, we will discover difficulties and obstacles to propose solutions to competent authorities. For Federations and Associations, we will inspect the implementation of the instructions of State management agencies, whether they are effective and in accordance with regulations?

Announcement of the Decision to inspect the State management of National Sports Federations and Associations

Representing the Federations and National Sports Associations speaking at the meeting, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation Duong Nghiep Khoi thanked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for their attention and said that the Federation will closely coordinate with the Inspection Team to properly implement the regulations. Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi also hopes to receive guidance on implementing regulations from State management agencies on how to hire experts, manage youth teams, from meals and regimes to comply with State regulations...

The inspection period is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023. The inspection period is 45 days from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
