Candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam in Thanh Hoa, school year 2024-2025

Previously, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued a plan for admission to grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year. Accordingly, the admission method is that each candidate must take 3 exams: Literature (120 minutes), Math (120 minutes, English (60 minutes); all exams are calculated on a 10-point scale and have a coefficient of 1. The exam will take place on June 3-4, 2025.

Admission review and announcement of admission results before July 31, 2025. For admission to Lam Son High School for the Gifted, each candidate must take 4 exams, including 3 general exams of the public high school exam for the grade 10 exam: Literature, Math, English and 1 specialized subject exam according to the registered wishes. The time for the specialized subject exam is 150 minutes; the exam score is calculated with a coefficient of 3; each specialized subject has a separate exam according to the secondary school subject program, the exam content ensures the selection of students with talent in the specialized subject.

After the exam results are available, Lam Son High School for the Gifted will organize an admission exam before enrolling in grade 10 of ethnic boarding high schools and grade 10 of public high schools.
