Of which, patrols were organized using the Smart toolkit for 164 rounds; regular patrols were organized, coordinating joint investigations and recording information about plant species in the assigned management area, serving data collection for the Velux project; and planned patrols were organized for 391 rounds.
In addition, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board also coordinated with Forest Rangers working in the area, forces of People's Committees of communes and towns to patrol, inspect the area and hold propaganda meetings, discuss with People's Committees of localities in disseminating legal regulations related to forest management and protection (QLBVR), patrolling QLBVR and some ad hoc tasks according to the general plan, a total of 63 sessions.
During the patrols, the patrol team discovered and removed and destroyed 270 old wire traps and clip traps. Specifically, the Mobile Forest Protection Team destroyed 80, Station No. 1 destroyed 122, and Station No. 2 destroyed 60. In addition, the patrol team of Station No. 4 discovered and asked 5 illegal subjects to leave the forest, and demolished a camp located at the edge of the forest management area; the Mobile Forest Protection Team discovered and asked 3 illegal subjects to leave the forest.
In parallel with the patrolling and inspection of forest protection, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board also strengthened the direction of the Planning - Technical Department to continue advising on the implementation of new forest planting tasks, forest care, and forest protection and management for projects transitioning to 2025; regularly update the implementation status of tasks and direct the implementation direction according to the approved budget roadmap; at the same time, urgently direct the completion of documents and propose settlement for project items up to the settlement time. Up to now, the Board has been the investor of 7 forest planting projects in the assigned forest area.
Regarding security and order, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board has effectively implemented the movement "All people protect national security", strengthening the work of ensuring internal political security. The unit continues to launch the movement to all cadres, civil servants and employees in the unit, 100% of cadres, civil servants and employees actively responded to the movement by signing the commitment to "building agencies and units that ensure security and order".
Continue to fight and suppress all types of crimes, law violations and social evils; proactively prevent and fight fires and explosions at the agency; proactively direct the assignment of shifts, ensure the maintenance of professional tasks, ensure the work of forest management and fire prevention and fighting, thoroughly educate all officials and contract workers specializing in forest protection to comply with the provisions of the law on traffic safety and social security. Thanks to that, the forest area of the Board is well protected, there are no violations of the provisions of the Forestry Law, no fires occur in the forest area; all officials and contract workers comply with the assigned shifts and comply with the provisions of the law.
