Mr. Tuong was honored for his outstanding leadership to create major changes to help put the Vietnamese fintech industry on the world map, standing shoulder to shoulder with leading fintechs in Asia and the world, promoting an innovative environment and culture at MoMo.
The Asian Banker honors MoMo Vice Chairman - CEO Nguyen Manh Tuong
He and his colleagues have led MoMo to implement its vision and mission of providing payment solutions, financial inclusion, and services that help Vietnamese people have equal access to easy and low-cost services... Mr. Tuong became the only Vietnamese leader to receive the award alongside leaders of major Fintechs in the world such as Founder of Paytm (India) or Group CEO of NETS (Singapore).
Presented every three years, the Innovation Leadership Achievement Award is one of the most important individual awards by The Asian Banker - Asia's leading financial services research and advisory organization. This year, the award ceremony took place within the framework of The Asian Banker's "Future of Finance Summit".

Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He holds a dual Master's degree in the United States in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo (New York) and in Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago (Chicago). Mr. Tuong has nearly 25 years of experience in the technology and finance industries.
Mr. Tuong co-founded MoMo in 2010 with the vision of promoting financial inclusion in Vietnam by providing accessible and low-cost payment solutions to Vietnamese people.
