On the afternoon of May 7, FPT Corporation organized the Forum on Developing New Impetus for the Nation & the Launching Ceremony of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance to Implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW.
Human resources are the backbone for national development.
Resolution 57 was issued by the Politburo in 2024 with a strategic vision on using science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as important breakthroughs to promote national development in the digital age.
One of the core objectives of the Resolution is to develop human resources, especially cadres, civil servants and employees capable of organizing and implementing digital transformation on a national scale.
At the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation shared a strong message from Resolution 68-NQ/TW of General Secretary To Lam: "Entrepreneurs are soldiers on the economic front".
However, according to Mr. Binh, today's war is no longer a war with military weapons like in the past, but a war of knowledge, technology and especially AI human resources.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh emphasized that if in 1945, Vietnam needed universal education so that everyone could read and write, today everyone needs to know how to use technology, especially artificial intelligence, to keep up with the world's development.
Every Vietnamese student today needs to be equipped with knowledge of technology, AI skills, and the ability to work with international experts.
"If we cannot train AI human resources, we will be left out of the technology game. But if we take the lead in AI training, Vietnam will rise to become a global workforce in this field," said the FPT chairman.
Suggestions for human resource development for the country
In the discussion session "Developing new momentum for the country: Human resources to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW", Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT Group said: "Resolution 57-NQ/TW is a revolution, opening up great opportunities for the country, especially in science, technology and human resources development.
However, to realize the spirit of Resolution 57, we are facing a great challenge in terms of implementation resources. That is the reason why the Strategic Human Resources Alliance was born."
According to Mr. Khoa, the big problems introduced into the school will create a solid foundation. Upon graduation, students can become specialized scientists or science and technology administrators, nurtured by the spirit of Resolution 57.
"I believe that by 2045, Vietnam will have world-class administrators, contributing to building a developed country based on science and technology," Mr. Khoa expected.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Le Thanh Tung, member of the Board of Directors of VietinBank, expressed: "From VietinBank's perspective, we consider Resolution 57 to be a correct and timely policy, contributing to creating a strong driving force for the whole society, especially in mobilizing and developing resources to serve the digital transformation process.
We have been actively implementing activities to apply science and technology, promoting the digital transformation process throughout the system. Because in a fiercely competitive environment like today, if we are slow, we will not only fall behind but also risk being replaced."

However, despite having a clear strategy, implementation remains a big challenge: "To implement effectively, there needs to be synchronization and comprehensiveness from mechanisms, policies, institutions to organizational culture.
So, where does the decisive factor lie? In my opinion, it is people - and this is completely in line with the spirit of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance initiative. At VietinBank, we also put people at the center of all development orientations, and we highly appreciate this idea," Mr. Tung added.
At the seminar, speakers all recognized the common challenge of lacking human resources with the capacity to implement national resolutions and strategies.
To address this issue, the Strategic Human Resources Alliance was established. One of the key initiatives is the “Engineer 57” training program initiated by FPT University.
This program is designed to be innovative, fast-paced, and practical, and is applied to students early on. The training content includes state management, business administration, digital economy, citizen experience, and advanced technologies, with the support of AI in curriculum development and teaching.
Representatives from sectors such as banking (VietinBank), policy research (Department IV), staff training (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics), and information security (Cryptography Academy) all emphasized the urgent need for human resources.
"Engineer 57" not only needs technological knowledge (AI, cloud, cybersecurity) but also needs to have modern management thinking, business analysis skills, legal understanding and the ability to lead the transformation process.
The alliance and training programs such as "Engineer 57" are expected to create a new generation of human resources with breakthrough thinking, meeting the requirements of the times, contributing to realizing national development goals, bringing Vietnam up in the global value chain.
