Young generation continues tradition, firmly steps into the future

Quang Ninh currently has about 400,000 young people, accounting for nearly 30% of the population and 50% of the province's workforce. Most young people are clearly aware of their responsibility to society, believe in the leadership of the Party, in the path and development goals of the country; clearly demonstrate patriotism, national pride, awareness of sharing, mutual love, aspiration to contribute, innovate and create for a prosperous and civilized Quang Ninh.

These qualities are strongly spread in each specific activity, associated with each locality and target group. Closely following the theme of the 2025 work "Quang Ninh Youth is proud and firmly believes in the Party", since the beginning of the year, the Youth Union at all levels has organized more than 40 conferences to study and disseminate directives and topics on education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle, attracting nearly 30,000 cadres and young union members to participate. Many meaningful activities have been carried out, such as: Restoring 121 photos of martyrs as gifts for relatives; lighting candles in gratitude at 495 tombstones at Ha Tu Martyrs' Cemetery; maintaining 21 "Young Theory" clubs, 207 "Youth Law" clubs... After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 42-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat "On strengthening the Party's leadership in educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles for the young generation in the period 2015-2030", the whole province has organized more than 7,500 propaganda sessions and thematic activities on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles in youth union activities, forums, seminars, and volunteer activities.

The youth volunteer movement (TNTN) continues to take place vigorously; from the beginning of 2025 to now, there have been more than 300 environmental protection activities, 242,350 trees planted, nearly 4,000 units of blood donated, thousands of gifts to support families with meritorious services and disadvantaged children were given... Especially in Youth Month 2025, the whole province implemented a provincial-level youth project worth 6.2 billion VND (the project "Transfer of status and putting into operation the mechanized market kiln 7-7, zone I, seam 7" of the Youth Union of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company); over 250 grassroots projects, worth over 5.2 billion VND. The projects "Lighting up the border", "House of love", "Community sports area", "Inter-village road"... have not only brought practical benefits to the people, but also contributed to fostering the spirit of solidarity and cohesion in the community.

Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee presented a "House of Love" to the family of Ms. Pham Thi Ha (Quang Duc commune), a young worker household in difficult circumstances.

The spirit of innovation and creativity of Quang Ninh youth is clearly demonstrated through the "Digital Education for the People" movement, with 55 youth teams and 1,950 youth union members participating in direct support at the Provincial and Commune Public Administration Service Centers, helping people access digital skills, online public services, and e-commerce.

The Coal Industry Youth Union made a strong impression by undertaking 1,494 projects, worth more than 2,000 billion VND; implementing 1,897 technical initiatives, making a profit of 40.1 billion VND; 70 scientific topics, worth 68.1 billion VND. Many individuals were honored as “National Excellent Young Workers”; creative products were in the top 30 typical enterprises nationwide.

Youth Unions at all levels actively accompany young people in starting businesses and establishing careers through startup clubs, business cafes, trade promotion fairs, etc. By May 2025, the loan capital entrusted through the Youth Union at the Bank for Social Policies reached more than 656 billion VND, supporting thousands of young people in developing production and business.

The movements of “5 Good Students”, “3 Good Students”, “3 Practiced Students”, sports festivals, cultural exchanges, and job support have become comprehensive training environments for young people. In the field of national defense, the Youth Union at all levels coordinated propaganda and mobilized young people to join the army, organized “March on the Border”, planted 450 bamboo trees on Tran Island, gave maps and gifts to children, etc.

Quang Ninh youth are affirming their bravery and pioneering role with the spirit of "Wherever needed, there are youth, wherever difficult, there are youth", continuing the tradition of "Discipline and Unity", firmly stepping into the future.
