39 more excellent students of Thuy Loi University become party members

On the morning of August 19, at the Presidential Palace, the Party Committee of the University of Water Resources held a ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho and admit 43 outstanding people, including 39 students, from 11 Party cells, to the Party.

The event took place in a vibrant and practical competitive atmosphere towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.

Emphasizing the role of the Party organization in developing young Party members, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Trung Viet, Principal of the University of Water Resources affirmed: The work of discovering, nurturing and recruiting young Party members is a regular activity of the Party Committee of the school.

Over the years, the school's Party Committee has always been evaluated by the Party Committee of Hanoi Universities and Colleges and the Hanoi City Party Committee as one of the bright spots, thanks to its specific plans and creating a favorable environment to encourage and motivate students to strive to join the Party.

At the ceremony to report to Uncle Ho, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Hue , Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the School Council said: In the past school year, the Party Committee and the school have promoted the spirit of solidarity, creativity and aspiration, overcome difficulties, properly implemented the Party's policies and the State's laws, and successfully completed tasks in all areas. Enrollment at all levels and systems met the target with increasing input quality; training majors were expanded with three new programs: Semiconductor Technology, International Accounting, and Financial Technology.

Along with that, the school implemented many solutions to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education and training, ensuring training quality with 59 students graduating with good and excellent grades. In particular, the school received the Certificate of Quality Assessment of Higher Education Institutions for the 2nd Cycle and 9 training programs were recognized as meeting standards.

Science and technology activities achieved many outstanding results with dozens of state-level topics, 24 ministerial-level topics, 54 grassroots-level topics; nearly 500 scientific service contracts worth over 300 billion VND; science and technology revenue of over 400 billion VND, accounting for nearly 50% of total revenue.

The school published 371 international articles, had 6 patents, 2 useful solutions; at the same time, expanded international cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and built 4 strong research groups...

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, all cadres, party members, civil servants and students of the University of Water Resources will continue to promote their intelligence, enhance the role of Party committees at all levels, strive to successfully implement the Development Strategy for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2050; build a multidisciplinary University of Water Resources, train high-quality human resources, serve the industrialization and modernization of the country.
