Improve quality to promote learning

That was the affirmation of Mr. Tang Tri Hung, Director of the Sports Training Center of Dong Nai University of Technology when the school decided to ask the Department of Culture and Sports of the province to introduce it to participate in the 2025 national third-class tournament.

According to Mr. Hung, for many years the school's Board of Directors has focused on sports, especially football, and has always sought to promote physical education activities in schools.

The school's policy is to build a stable football team and increase regular exchanges to both discover and nurture talent and stimulate the movement to grow stronger. At the same time, through participating in many playgrounds, it will improve the quality to promote and motivate students to study enthusiastically and cultivate their style, thereby building a good image and brand for the school.

Mr. Tang Tri Hung affirmed that Dong Nai University of Technology always focuses on the 11-player field, regularly participates in tournaments organized annually by the Asian University Football Federation (AUFF), participates in Vietnamese Youth Student Football tournaments organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association and Thanh Nien Newspaper, and tournaments organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Launch pad from third division

According to Mr. Hung, participating in the national third division tournament is part of the team's development plan in the next few years. With the support of the Department of Culture and Sports of Dong Nai province, the team is confident that it can enter non-professional tournaments, starting with the third division tournament.

Head coach Le Huu Phat, a former Dong Nai player, said that the team has more than 30 players, capable of playing on two fronts. They will participate in student tournaments, mainly focusing on the 4th Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament in January 2026, and are also capable of competing in the third division tournament, which will start on October 26.
