In the priority method of considering international English certificates (IELTS), candidates must have Good conduct, Fair academic performance or higher in semester 1 or the whole year of grade 12 and have a minimum IELTS international English certificate test result (or equivalent) to be given priority for admission to the following majors:

In the method of considering transcripts, the school takes the average score of the combination of subjects for admission in the entire year of grades 10, 11 and the score of semester 1 or the entire year of grade 12. For English Language majors, candidates must have an average English score of over 7.
With the method of considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test, candidates must achieve 600 or higher. The score of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test (HSA) 2024 can be converted to the score of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's exam (APT) according to the formula: HSA = 0.1103 x APT (0.1103 is the coefficient).
Banking Academy enrolls 3,514 students (an increase of 214 students compared to 2023). This year, the school will use the method of considering high school graduation exam results (50% of the expected target) and 4 early admission methods including: Direct admission, considering high school transcripts (20%), considering international certificates (15%); considering the results of competency assessment exams (15%). Specifically, in the method of considering high school transcripts, the school considers candidates with excellent academic performance in grade 12 and an average score of 3 years of high school for each subject in the group of subjects registered for admission reaching 8 points or higher.
For standard training programs and international joint training programs, the admission score is calculated on a 30-point scale. For high-quality programs, the admission score is calculated on a 40-point scale (Math multiplied by a factor of 2).
In the international certificate examination method, candidates are required to have excellent academic performance in grade 12 and one of the following certificates: SAT certificate from 1,200 points or higher; IELTS certificate (Academic) from 6.0 or higher; TOEFL iBT certificate from 72 points or higher.
The method of considering the results of the competency assessment exams is divided into two criteria: Considering the results of the V-SAT university entrance exam and considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University.

Hanoi University plans to enroll 3,490 students in 2024 (an increase of 110 students compared to 2023) for 31 training programs. Of which, the school reserves 190 students for regular foreign-affiliated training programs. See details here.
