Construction across the ceremony on Nguyen Trai bridge construction site

During the National Day holidays, at the construction site of Nguyen Trai Bridge (Hai Phong) and the urban beautification of the surrounding area, the construction atmosphere was still urgent and bustling as usual.

On September 1, nearly 300 engineers and workers worked hard to "eat at the construction site and sleep at the construction site", maintaining the progress of the Nguyen Trai bridge construction project in Ngo Quyen and Thuy Nguyen wards.

On the construction site, workers work day and night.

“Although working across the festival is a bit hard, we receive attention and support from the contractor. The most important thing is the pride of contributing to the key project of Hai Phong city, each person has a job and we look forward to Nguyen Trai bridge being put into use soon,” said worker Vang A Phong, in Dien Bien province.

“I have been working on the Nguyen Trai Bridge since early 2025 and since then I have not been back home to visit my family. During the holidays, I miss seeing my friends and relatives resting and gathering, but thinking about the project I contributed to will soon be completed, connecting the banks happily, gives me more motivation to stick with it. I will save my holiday bonus to send to my wife to take care of my children in the new school year,” said worker Phan Van Tinh, from Thanh Hoa province.

On the other side of Thuy Nguyen ward, the working atmosphere is also bustling.

According to the investor's assessment, maintaining a continuous construction pace, even during the holidays, not only helps ensure progress but also affirms the contractor's determination to bring key projects to completion on time.

Engineers and workers stayed at the construction site of Nguyen Trai Bridge and urban beautification in the surrounding area during the September 2nd holiday.

The Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and Urban Redevelopment of the surrounding area is a special-level traffic project, starting on December 18, 2024. The project has a total investment of VND 6,235.5 billion, of which the construction and installation value is more than VND 3,915 billion, with an implementation period from 2021 to 2027. To date, after 7 months of construction, the construction and installation output has reached nearly 23% of the contract value.

Of which, package No. 15 for construction of approach bridges, access roads and intersections has construction volume reaching 652.8 out of the total value of 1,435 billion VND (45.4%).
