Labor emulation campaign to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.

To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), the atmosphere of labor and production emulation is extremely vibrant in agencies, units, and businesses these days.

At Nam Thanh Ninh Thuan Construction - Trading and Manufacturing Company Limited, hundreds of workers are diligently working on the production line to ensure the best quality products and highest productivity. Mr. Thanh Kim Huynh, Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union, said: To create motivation for labor and production emulation throughout the unit, the grassroots trade union executive committee has proactively and actively coordinated with the government to extensively implement patriotic emulation movements, especially during national and provincial anniversaries and important events, such as the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement; “Excellent in national affairs - Competent in household affairs”, “Occupational safety and hygiene”… From these movements, since the beginning of the year, many projects and technical improvements have been implemented and applied in practice by collectives and individuals, contributing to increased labor productivity and improved working environment. Typical examples include the improvement of “Changing the traditional composting process with a machine-based composting method”, and “Improving and upgrading the entire organic compost production line, bringing in over 100 million VND/month in efficiency”. The enterprise has commended and rewarded 30 individuals who excellently completed their tasks in the “Excellent Worker - Creative Worker” emulation movement, with a total reward of 400 million VND.

At Viet Field Food Joint Stock Company, the atmosphere of labor and production competition is also extremely vibrant. Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of the company, said: Affected by the global economic recession, many businesses are trying to adapt and seek new opportunities to overcome difficulties, maintain growth, and stabilize production and business operations. In that context, the company has implemented many solutions, promoting the spirit of solidarity and competition of the entire team to strive to achieve the production and business goals for 2024 and achieve positive results.

To achieve its goals, in addition to maintaining the company's 250-hectare aloe vera raw material area, the enterprise also collaborates with farmers and cooperatives to expand the area, forming sustainable supply chains, effectively exploiting the value of aloe vera to ensure an abundant, stable supply of raw materials and improve quality. Furthermore, the company has invested in advanced technology to improve production efficiency and product quality; it has invested in increasing the factory's capacity to 30,000 tons of finished products per year with an additional investment of 52 billion VND. It has improved quality management from raw materials to the final product, and refined production and distribution processes to optimize costs. In addition, it is actively expanding and seeking new markets through international trade fairs and trade promotion activities to introduce its products and seek new cooperation opportunities. Since the beginning of the year, the company has purchased over 18,000 tons of aloe vera raw materials from local farmers, generating estimated revenue of 132 billion VND. The company maintains stable employment for over 350 workers, with an average income of 7.5 million VND for workers and 13 million VND for management staff.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan stated: To maintain and develop production and business, the leadership continues to coordinate with the Trade Union Executive Committee to promote the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" emulation movement, encouraging all employees and workers to focus on implementing solutions and tasks to develop the aloe vera value chain; build a national brand, develop and expand the consumer market, improve production and business efficiency, and ensure jobs and income for workers.

Deeply aware that emulation is a driving force for development, from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union directed all levels of trade unions to implement emulation plans and movements in a practical, effective, and widespread manner within agencies and units; especially emulation to achieve accomplishments in chào mừng major holidays and important political events of the province and the country. Movements such as "Excellent Workers, Creative Workers," "Good at Work - Good at Home," and "Cadres, Civil Servants, and Public Employees Say No to Negativity and Build a Culturally Advanced Workplace"... have attracted a large number of union members to participate and implement them through concrete, practical actions, striving to successfully complete their professional tasks. Many cultural, artistic, and sports activities were held enthusiastically, such as the Provincial Civil Servant Trade Union Sports Festival, the Industrial Zone Trade Union Sports Festival, and the Workers' Singing Contest... These events contributed to creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, improving the spiritual life and health, and fostering solidarity among workers, civil servants, and laborers.

Comrade Tran Van Dong, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union, stated: In order to promote patriotic emulation movements, focusing on creative labor emulation among union members and workers, all levels of trade unions will continue to strengthen propaganda, promote the role of gathering and mobilizing, and innovate emulation and reward work. Emphasis will be placed on building, commending, and replicating exemplary collectives and individuals, creating a strong ripple effect and motivation for union members and workers to strive to learn and work hard to complete their professional tasks well, improve labor productivity, and contribute to the successful achievement of the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the locality in 2024.
