Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong emphasized: During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh once advised: "Competition is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation and those who emulate are the most patriotic". That teaching has become a source of strength, strongly arousing patriotism, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant of our entire Party, people and army. Emulation movements through historical periods have become a great endogenous strength, helping the country overcome countless difficulties and achieve glorious victories.
Spread the patriotic emulation movement widely among the people
Thoroughly grasping that viewpoint, in recent years, the patriotic emulation movement in Lai Chau province has become an important driving force, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, consolidating national defense and security, building the Party and political system increasingly clean and strong. From urban to rural areas, from remote borders to provincial centers, more and more typical collectives and individuals, advanced models have appeared, contributing to building the heroic land of Lai Chau, with love, solidarity and aspirations to rise up.
We have just successfully organized the Party Congresses at all levels, the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, opening a new development path, demonstrating the vision, aspiration, will and determination of the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in the province. Currently, all levels, sectors and localities are focusing on concretizing and implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at their level and the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress; making every effort to successfully implement the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
With the participation of the entire political system, the consensus and agreement of the majority of people and the business community, in recent years, Lai Chau province has achieved very positive and comprehensive results. The organization and operation of the two-level local government have been well implemented. The economy has achieved a fairly good growth rate, the socio-economic infrastructure has been gradually improved; culture and society have changed positively, the quality of education and health care has been improved; social policies have been given attention and implemented promptly; the poverty rate has decreased rapidly, people's lives have improved significantly; national defense and security have been strengthened, border sovereignty has been maintained; foreign relations and international cooperation have expanded and deepened; the great solidarity bloc of ethnic groups has continued to be consolidated and strengthened.
The 14th National Congress of the Party is a major political event, deciding the country's development guidelines and goals in the new era; along with that, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is identified by the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government as key tasks of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army in 2026. We must accelerate, break through, and make achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; strive to compete to successfully implement the goals set by the 15th Provincial Party Congress, to build Lai Chau to develop greenly, quickly, and sustainably. Determined to turn this emulation movement into a vibrant and widespread political activity so that "all people as one" can be unanimous and successfully implement strategic goals. Take decisive action to turn political determination into concrete products; turn assigned goals, targets and tasks into practical results and the final destination of the emulation campaign is to improve the material and spiritual life of the people, Lai Chau province must develop rapidly and sustainably, contributing to the prosperous development of the country.
Determination to act, turn aspirations into reality
In order for the entire people to unite, compete in action, and resolutely implement the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, to welcome the 14th Party Congress, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed:
(1) At all levels, sectors, localities, each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee, especially the leader, must be a typical nucleus, an example of courage, intelligence, ethics and working style; dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, dare to act for the common interest; compete to innovate thinking, be determined to act, contribute, quickly concretize the goals, tasks and solutions of the Resolution in accordance with each sector, each field and each locality. At the same time, direct, organize and successfully implement the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in localities according to the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies and the leadership, direction and guidance of the central government and the province.
(2) Lai Chau business community and entrepreneurs continue to uphold the spirit of patriotism, dynamism, creativity, overcoming difficulties, seizing opportunities, investing, producing, and doing business effectively, creating more jobs and income for people, and making positive contributions to the budget and development of the province.
(3) People of all walks of life continue to uphold patriotism, the desire to contribute, unite, have absolute trust in the Party's leadership, strive to compete in labor production, maintain security, social order and protect the environment, and actively contribute to the construction of the province and the country.
(4) The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations strengthen propaganda and mobilize union members, association members and people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
(5) News agencies, newspapers, and media must be proactive, creative, and competitive in propaganda work, spreading trust, inspiring, and replicating examples of good people, good deeds, good models, and effective methods, so that the emulation movement can truly spread widely in the community, contributing to enhancing social consensus and strengthening trust among the people.
Responding to the Prime Minister's call for emulation "Everyone competes, every industry competes, every day competes", Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong believes that the patriotic emulation movement of Lai Chau province will spread strongly, arousing the spirit of solidarity, the aspiration to rise up, the will of self-reliance and self-strengthening of Lai Chau people; contributing to the excellent completion of the goals and tasks set out by the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, achieving outstanding achievements in welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, together with the whole country moving forward in the new period of development - rich, prosperous and happy.
