According to information from the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training, during the Math exam (morning of June 11), the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year in Hanoi, the exam sites in the city took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
This morning, 618 candidates were absent, and 1 candidate violated exam regulations by using a phone network to enter the exam room.

So, after this morning's exam, the candidates taking the 10th grade public school entrance exam have finished their exam.
Nearly 116,000 candidates officially participated in the 10th grade public entrance exam in Hanoi. Yesterday (June 10), in the morning, they took the Literature exam and in the afternoon, they took the Foreign Language exam.
For the Foreign Language exam, candidates choose one of the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean. Candidates can register to take the exam in a foreign language other than the language they are studying in secondary school.
On the morning of June 11, students took the Math exam, with 120 minutes to complete. The exam was graded on a 10-point scale, multiplied by a factor of 2.
This is a relatively difficult exam. Because Hanoi has 117 public high schools and enrolls about 72,000 students in grade 10. According to this target, about 60% of students have a place in public grade 10.
