Experts are interested in ethnic capital of Lang Son.

Lang Son Geopark was established in 2021. By 2023, the boundary will be adjusted to 8/11 districts and cities, with an area of ​​about 4,842 km2 and a population of about 627,000 people (accounting for 58% of the area and 78% of the province's population).

With the theme “Flow of life in the sacred land,” the province has initially formed 4 routes with 38 tourist attractions in Lang Son Geopark including: Exploring the world of the mountains; journey to the heavenly realm; rustic life on earth; road to the aquarium.

These tourist routes are being developed on the basis of connecting typical locations of the continuous evolutionary history of life and the worship of the Three Palaces; unique cultural heritages and beautiful natural landscapes.

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee shared that with the province's determination and goal in making efforts to build Lang Son Geopark as a UNESCO global Geopark to preserve and promote the overall heritage values ​​of geology, culture, history, archaeology, biodiversity as well as the province's unique landscapes.

“The locality will orient and maximize the potential strengths of the Geopark in association with tourism development and new, sustainable livelihood opportunities for the local community, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of Lang Son province as well as the Northeast region of Vietnam,” Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen emphasized.
