The festival takes place over three days, from March 19th to 21st (corresponding to the 10th to 12th days of the second lunar month), with activities such as: processions of sacred objects and water; rituals honoring the spirits of the deceased and ancestors; offering incense, releasing lanterns, and carrying the sacred fire...
At the festival, visitors can also visit the Lady's Shrine, the Lady's Well, and the Thu Bon Lady's Pond; enjoy cultural and artistic activities, traditional folk singing, folk games, chess competitions, athletics, and more.
According to legend, Lady Thu Bồn was a Cham female general who, after suffering a defeat, fled westward to Phường Rạnh and chose it as her base of operations.
Here, she instructed her soldiers to dig wells and ponds, plant rice, raise livestock, and taught the villagers how to cultivate mulberry trees, raise silkworms, spin silk, weave cloth, and use herbs from the forest to treat illnesses in people and animals. After her death, she manifested her divine power to protect the villagers from numerous natural disasters and enemy attacks.

To commemorate her kindness, on the 12th day of the second lunar month, the villagers hold ceremonies to express their gratitude and pray for her continued protection and blessings, wishing the villagers good health, prosperity in business, and success in all endeavors.
According to Mr. Tran Van Doan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Phuoc town, this year, in addition to the main ceremonial activities, the locality is combining them with a festival featuring many attractive cultural and sports activities. Specifically, these include: two nights of art performances with unique artistic programs, a traditional folk singing program throughout the festival; and traditional boat racing on the Thu Bon River...
The festival contributes to educating people about preserving and promoting cultural identity; raising awareness in managing and preserving historical and cultural values and promoting the value of national intangible cultural heritage; contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, creating interaction and cohesion within the community.
