According to statistics, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the third quarter of 2025 reached more than VND 25.6 trillion, up 11.7% over the same period. Of which, retail sales of goods accounted for the majority, with nearly VND 17.9 trillion, up more than 10% over the same period; accommodation and food services increased by nearly 12%; travel services increased sharply by nearly 27%, reflecting the continued improvement in domestic travel and tourism demand.

In the first 9 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue of the province reached 77.6 trillion VND, an increase of 16.7% over the same period. Groups of goods such as: food, food, household appliances, culture - education , along with medical and training services all recorded high growth, showing that the market is gradually returning to a stable growth rate after a difficult period.

It is forecasted that in the fourth quarter, consumer demand will continue to increase strongly as the year-end shopping season begins. Along with implementing price stabilization and market control programs, Thai Nguyen aims to complete and exceed the 2025 plan, with total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue expected to reach over VND92 trillion.
