Thai Nguyen youth: Proud and steadfast in following the Party.

October 15th each year is the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union. In 2025, marking its 69th anniversary, the Union continues to affirm its process of building, striving, and maturing under the leadership of the Party, with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union playing a core role, worthy of being a broad social organization of patriotic Vietnamese youth following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's ideals.

Today's young generation, including the youth of Thai Nguyen , has been continuously studying, cultivating, and training themselves, contributing to the formation of a generation in the new era - the era of national progress - with fervent patriotism, strong character, knowledge, health, aspirations for advancement, volunteerism for community life, and proactive and confident participation in international integration.

In 2025, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will celebrate its 94th anniversary. The Vietnam Youth Union will also mark its 69th anniversary of establishment and growth. In line with the 2025 work theme, "Thai Nguyen Youth Proud and Confident in Following the Party," youth union branches at all levels in the province have implemented numerous activities and solutions closely aligned with the theme.

Volunteer activities are organized widely across all fields and areas of work, with a clear focus and priorities, creating a ripple effect and garnering the enthusiastic participation of a large number of youth union members; they are recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities, and the people. Volunteer methods are organized flexibly, creatively, effectively, and appropriately to the local conditions.

"I love my homeland" has been the main movement in the work of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen province in recent times. From the smallest actions, through continuous self-improvement, initiative, creativity, and volunteerism for the community, the youth of Thai Nguyen have been striving to spread this movement.

During the days when Thai Nguyen was reeling from the historic floods caused by Typhoon 11, the image of young people wading through the rain and floods, actively participating in rescue and relief efforts; the rapid response youth shock teams and volunteer youth teams participating in cleaning up with the people... established in various localities served as strong evidence of the pioneering spirit of the youth; worthy of President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "Wherever there is a need, the youth are there; wherever there is difficulty, the youth are there."

Ms. Vu Duong Bao Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Phan Dinh Phung Ward Youth Union: Hundreds of youth union members in the ward volunteered to participate in relief activities during the floods. Although many of them also had their homes flooded, their spirit of readiness to serve the community, to take on difficult tasks, and to share with their fellow citizens was the driving force that helped them unite and successfully complete their duties.

Not only volunteering in community activities, youth union members are also the driving force in entrepreneurship and economic development movements. A prime example is Mr. Duong Van Duy, Director of Hong Ky Agricultural Service Cooperative in Phu Binh commune, one of the 25 outstanding young Party members in Thai Nguyen province for the period 2019-2024.

Mr. Duy laid the foundation and built the brand for the cooperative with 3 products: "Thau Dau Glutinous Rice," "Uc Ky Soy Sauce," and "Hong Ky Glutinous Rice Soy Sauce," which were recognized as achieving OCOP 3-star standards at the end of 2022.

Mr. Duong Van Duy is the person who laid the foundation and built the brand for three products, "Thau Dau Glutinous Rice," "Uc Ky Soy Sauce," and "Hong Ky Glutinous Rice Soy Sauce," which have achieved OCOP 3-star certification.

Sharing his initial success, Duy stated that the key to success is the spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and always striving to prove oneself. The initial achievements serve as motivation for him and the cooperative to continue striving to improve and develop the local agricultural products that they have painstakingly created over time.

Building on tradition, in recent years, the youth of Thai Nguyen have continuously cultivated and trained themselves, making important contributions to the cause of building and developing their homeland. Thousands of exemplary young union members and Party members have emerged in various fields; they are passionate about innovation, striving for excellence in science and technology, culture and arts, and sports; they are ready to travel to remote and disadvantaged areas to help the community, illuminating the path of volunteerism.

These activities include volunteering to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; deploying youth volunteer teams to support the operation of the two-tiered local government model and providing online public services at commune and ward-level public administrative service centers in the province; and regularly implementing social welfare activities for the benefit of the community.

Youth union branches at all levels throughout the province have proposed thousands of ideas and initiatives that have been implemented and applied in practice. The "Five Good Students," "Three Good Students," and "Three Well-Rounded Students" movements continue to be implemented by youth union branches across the province to create an environment for students to strive and develop comprehensively. Support for young people in starting and developing businesses has been implemented and achieved many positive results. All of these have contributed to affirming the role of young people in the development of the country and their homeland.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Provincial Youth Federation, stated: To achieve positive results in activities over the past period, the various levels of the Federation have focused on investing in research to innovate the content and methods of operation, actively mobilizing resources to organize volunteer programs and revolutionary action movements that have been strongly and widely implemented in all areas.

Propaganda work has been widely and comprehensively implemented across all fields. The content and activities have been focused and targeted, receiving special attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels; attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate, and mobilizing significant attention and resources from society.

This will also continue to be a great source of motivation for further activities in the coming period. In particular, the upcoming First Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen Province, for the term 2025-2030, will discuss and agree on the implementation of key tasks in youth work in Thai Nguyen Province.

On their journey of unwavering loyalty to the Party, youth union members will continue to be the pioneering and leading force in the construction and development of Thai Nguyen province in particular, and in bringing Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading nations, as envisioned by President Ho Chi Minh and the aspirations of the entire nation.
