Thai Nguyen Youth: Proud and confident in following the Party

October 15th of every year is the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union. In 2025, the 69th anniversary of its founding, the Union continues to affirm its process of building, striving and growing under the leadership of the Party, with the core role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, worthy of being a broad social organization of patriotic Vietnamese youth following Ho Chi Minh's thought and the Party's ideals.

Today's young generation, including Thai Nguyen youth, has been constantly studying, cultivating, training, contributing to the formation of a generation in the new era - the era of national growth, with passionate patriotism, courage, knowledge, health, aspirations to rise up, volunteering for community life, proactive and confident in international integration.

In 2025, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union celebrated its 94th anniversary. The Vietnam Youth Union also marked its 69th year of establishment and growth. Implementing the 2025 working theme "Thai Nguyen Youth is proud and confident in following the Party", the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have deployed many contents and solutions closely following the year's working theme.

Volunteer activities are organized widely in all fields and contents of work, with focus and key points, creating a spreading effect, response and participation of a large number of youth union members; recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities and people. Volunteer methods are organized flexibly, creatively, effectively, suitable to local conditions.

“I love my Fatherland” is the main movement in the work of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen province in recent times. From the smallest actions, constantly practicing, being proactive, creative, volunteering for the community, Thai Nguyen youth have been trying their best to spread the movement.

During the days when Thai Nguyen was struggling with the historic flood caused by the impact of storm 11, the images of youth union members wading in the rain and flood, actively participating in rescue and relief work; youth shock teams responding quickly, youth volunteer teams participating in cleaning up with people... were established in all localities as a strong testament to the pioneering spirit of the youth; worthy of the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh: "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth".

Ms. Vu Duong Bao Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Phan Dinh Phung Ward: Hundreds of youth union members of the ward volunteered to participate in flood relief activities. Although many of their families were also in the situation of having their houses flooded, their spirit of being ready for the community, ready to take on difficult tasks, and sharing with their fellow countrymen was the driving force for them to unite and complete their tasks well.

Not only volunteering in community activities, youth union members are also the main force in start-up movements and economic development. A typical example is Mr. Duong Van Duy, Director of Hong Ky Agricultural Service Cooperative, Phu Binh commune, one of 25 outstanding young party members of Thai Nguyen province, period 2019 - 2024.

Mr. Duy is the founder and brand builder of the Cooperative with 3 products "Thau Dau sticky rice", "Uc Ky soy sauce" and "Hong Ky sticky rice sauce", which were recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards by the end of 2022.

Sharing about his initial success, Mr. Duy said: The decisive factor for success is the spirit of daring to think, daring to do and always wanting to assert oneself. The initial results achieved are the motivation for him and the Cooperative to continue to try harder in improving and developing local agricultural products that have been enthusiastically created over the past time.

Promoting tradition, over the years, Thai Nguyen youth have constantly cultivated, trained, and made important contributions to the cause of building and developing the homeland. There have been thousands of exemplary young union members and party members in various fields; they are passionate about creating to reach the pinnacle of science - technology, culture - art, physical education - sports; ready to go to remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas to help the community, lighting up the green volunteer shirt.

These are voluntary activities to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; deploying youth volunteer teams to support the operation of the 2-level local government model and providing online public services at public administrative service centers at commune and ward levels in the province; social security activities for community life are regularly deployed.

The provincial Youth Union at all levels proposed thousands of ideas and initiatives that were implemented and applied in practice. The movements of “5 Good Students”, “3 Good Students”, “3 Practiced Students” continued to be implemented by the provincial Youth Union at all levels to create an environment for students to strive and practice comprehensively. Accompanying young people to start a business and establish a career was implemented and achieved many positive results. All of these contributed to affirming the role of youth in the process of developing the country and homeland.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Youth Union, said: To achieve positive results in recent activities, all levels of the union have focused on investing in research to innovate the content and methods of operation, actively mobilizing resources to organize volunteer programs, and revolutionary action movements have been strongly and widely deployed in all localities.

Propaganda work is widely and comprehensively deployed in all fields. The contents and activities are focused and key, receiving special attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels; attracting a large number of union members and youth to participate, mobilizing great attention and resources in society.

This will also continue to be a great source of motivation to continue implementing activities in the coming time. In particular, the upcoming 1st Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030, will discuss and agree on implementing key tasks in youth work of Thai Nguyen province.

On the journey of firmly following the Party, the youth union members will continue to be the vanguard, shock force, leading the way in the construction and development of Thai Nguyen province in particular and bringing Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as President Ho Chi Minh wished, as the aspiration of the entire nation.
