Market turns down, foreign investors "dump" net sell 1,800 billion VND

After about 45 minutes of trying to keep the green color, the market turned to adjust when the cash flow weakened and lacked a leading group.

Red covered most of the industry groups, in which the agriculture - forestry - fishery and aquaculture group decreased the most, for example, HAG decreased by 1.43%, HNG decreased by 3.77%, VHC decreased by 1.45%, ANV decreased by 1.55%, ASM decreased by 2.02%, IDI decreased by 1.58%. The real estate group was also under pressure when the trio of Vin stocks, VHM, VIC and VRE, decreased by 1.29%, 1.84% and 1.36% respectively.

At the end of the morning session on June 11, VN-Index decreased by 5.57 points, equivalent to 0.45% to 1,284.92 points. The entire floor had 138 stocks increasing and 281 stocks decreasing.

Entering the afternoon session, the market continued to decline due to profit-taking by investors, VN-Index lost the 1,290 point mark again.

At the end of the trading session on June 11, VN-Index decreased by 6.26 points, equivalent to 0.49% to 1,284.41 points. The entire floor had 146 stocks increasing, 301 stocks decreasing, and 63 stocks remaining unchanged.

HNX-Index increased by 0.83 points to 246.41 points. The entire floor had 77 stocks increasing, 101 stocks decreasing and 55 stocks remaining unchanged. UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.61 points to 98.95 points.

The real estate group suffered the strongest correction when red covered most of the codes in the industry, the most negative was VHM when it took away 0.8 points from the market. However, there were still a few codes that reversed the trend such as SZC, NLG, OGC, CCL, VC3, CKG, TDC, notably TIG and THG ended the session in purple.

Banking stocks continued to differentiate as the number of green and red codes was quite balanced, however, the large codes decreased more strongly, causing the whole industry to lose 0.49%. In particular, VCB led the decline when taking away 1.1 points from the market, 3 codes BID, CTG, LPB also took away a total of 1.2 points. Meanwhile, codes VPB, TCB, VIB contributed a total of 1.1 points to the market.

After a period of positive gains, airline stocks have been under profit-taking pressure. Of which, VJC fell 2.94% to VND105,800/share and took away more than 0.4 points, HVN also fell 1.9% to VND28,400/share and took away 0.3 points from the market.

FPT shares continued to set a new peak when they increased by 1.74% to VND146,500/share and led the market's increase by contributing 0.8 points. Some other codes also increased positively such as PLX, POW, VCI, SSI, LGC, VGC.

The total order matching value in today's session was VND28,958 billion, up 16% compared to yesterday, of which the order matching value on the HoSE floor reached VND25,421 billion. In the VN30 group, liquidity reached VND10,269 billion.

Foreign investors net sold for the fourth consecutive session with a value of VND 1,845 billion today, of which this group disbursed VND 1,173 billion and sold VND 3,019 billion.

The codes that were sold strongly were FPT 261 billion VND, VHM 214 billion VND, HPG 205 billion VND, TCB 119 billion VND, VNM 107 billion VND,... On the contrary, the codes that were mainly bought were PLX 71 billion VND, HAH 49 billion VND, SAB 30 billion VND, POW 30 billion VND, CSV 19 billion VND,... .
