(QNgTV) - Storm No. 3 has weakened and is gradually dissipating but continues to cause rain from the evening of July 22 to the morning of July 23 in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Nam Phu Tho and Son La with local rainfall up to 200mm.

As of 6pm on July 22, 79 houses in Nghe An had their roofs blown off. Regarding agriculture , 107,217 hectares of rice were flooded, with areas severely flooded in Ninh Binh, Hung Yen and Thanh Hoa. In addition, there was a 20m crack along the right-hand side of the Cau embankment in Da Phuc commune, Hanoi. Localities have set up checkpoints to restrict people and prohibit vehicles from passing through.

In Hoang Chau commune, Thanh Hoa, 2 sections of the left dike slope also collapsed with a total length of 65m; Nghia Son commune, Ninh Binh also had a 5m long Nam Quan Lieu dike slope collapse. Currently, the provinces continue to review and count the damage after the storm.
