(NADS) - Rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 Pro have been around for a long time, especially regarding the rear camera cluster. However, a recent report may surprise many people when it confirms that previously leaked images are not accurate.
Recently, Jon Prosser - Apple information leak expert and host of Front Page Tech shared in a YouTube video that he saw the actual design of the iPhone 17 Pro with his own eyes.
According to Prosser, Apple will completely change the back of the device, while the front will retain the current design. However, instead of the horizontal camera cluster as many previous rumors said, the iPhone 17 Pro will still retain the familiar triangular triple camera layout, but they will be placed in a larger camera cluster that stretches horizontally across the device and is darker than the rest of the body.
The horizontal camera arrangement may look novel, but Prosser says there are a number of technical reasons why Apple found it difficult to do so. One of them is the limited space at the top of the device, which makes a horizontal camera layout unfeasible.
The images shared by Prosser are actually just renders, but he claims to have seen the device in person and received confirmation from multiple reliable sources. However, it is still rare for an iPhone design to leak so early, so this information still needs to be verified.
In addition to the back design, Prosser also denied rumors that the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 17 Pro will be smaller. He said there is not much information about the materials or internal hardware, but some sources said the device feels lighter in the hand.
