Launching the research project on Lao Cai literature: "Lao Cai written literature - Origin and development"

On the morning of July 15, writer Doan Huu Nam launched the publication “Lao Cai Written Literature – Origin and Development”. This is a systematic research work, summarizing the formation and development process of Lao Cai written literature through the periods.

The publication consists of more than 200 pages, divided into 5 chapters, focusing on recreating the appearance of Lao Cai 's written literature from the period before the establishment of the Hoang Lien Son Literature and Arts Association (1976) to the period after the province's re-establishment (1991 - 2025).

The highlight of the work is the introduction of 39 authors, typical prose and poetry works, vividly reflecting the cultural and social life and people of Lao Cai through historical periods.

Established on November 1, 1972, Lao Cai Literature and Arts Association has made many contributions in reflecting the process of building, developing and promoting the natural beauty, culture and people of Lao Cai. However, due to limited storage conditions, many valuable works have been lost, scattered in the community or only kept in libraries and personal bookcases.

The publication of “Lao Cai Written Literature – Origin and Development” not only contributes to systematizing documents, preserving unique cultural and spiritual values, but also helps promote the image of Lao Cai people and land to a wide range of readers nationwide.
